Who we are
MatGuard Check is a private digital platform that helps athletes, academies and event organizers manage public profiles. We are not a sports federation, a certification body, or a public authority.
Data we collect
Account data (email, name), profile data submitted by users (location, instructors, photos, schedule, training styles, contact details), documents uploaded to support a profile review, and basic technical data (IP, device, browser) for security and analytics.
How we use data
To review and publish public profiles, allow visitors to explore academies, secure the platform, communicate with you about your account, and improve the service.
What is public
Only published profiles are publicly visible (name, location, photos, instructors, public details). Supporting documents and pending submissions are private and visible only to the profile owner and MatGuard Check admins.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We rely on consent (account creation), contract performance (profile management service), and legitimate interest (platform security and integrity).
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by contacting us through the contact page.
Data retention
Account and profile data is kept while your account is active. Supporting documents are kept only as long as needed for the review and any renewals.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted infrastructure providers (database, storage, email, payments) bound by data-processing agreements.
